Ten middle school students from a local public housing community spent their summer vacation learning about teamwork, nature and art with environmental photographer Joanne Miller.  Together, Miller and the children photographed farms, wild rivers, and butterfly gardens.  Each child made dozens of beautiful photographs.

"Many of our youth were just introduced to art and found that they could create masterpieces.  We want to help them to identify their talents and determine what career they want to pursue.  PhotoKids gave them the opportunity to learn a new skill and share their gift.  Thank you AHCMC and the Montgomery County Employee Giving Campaign for supporting PhotoKids" - Angela Bowen, President & CEO, Community Services Foundation
